It is one thing if it is bought for periodic family travel, and quite another if it is planned to carry out regular hunting trips on it, in complete off-road conditions, or it will be operated as a transport of a controlling institution.

The factory version is capable of delivering a net power of 109 hp, and by this indicator the Sobol is clearly inferior to the Patriot. The GAZ transmission is not adapted for long-term operation at maximum capacities. Despite the fact that the traction on the Patriot is not bad, when driving in 5th gear with a full load uphill, the engine power is not enough.
