The Infiniti Q60 convertible has been known to the world since 2014, when the Japanese company re-branded its lineup. The car itself has been produced in Japan since 2009, and initially it bore the name G37 Convertible (in fact, only the name has changed, and the exterior, interior and technology remained practically intact).

The exterior design of the Infiniti Q60 Cabrio is decorated in almost the same style as on the closed model, but there are still differences.

With the roof retracted, the convertible looks just as beautiful, but more unusual and elegant. But with the hard top unfolded, you will not immediately grasp that this is actually not a coupe, and only by looking closely, it becomes clear that the open version has a slightly different roofline. It is worth noting that the "top" goes down / up in 25 seconds only when the car is not moving.

The length of the Infiniti Q60 convertible is 4660 mm, the width is 1850 mm, and the height is 1400 mm. This means that it is 6 mm longer and 5 mm taller than the coupé of the same name. But the indicators of the wheelbase and ground clearance of the models are identical - 2850 mm and 135 mm, respectively.

Due to the peculiarity of the design, the Cabrio in curb condition is 228 kg heavier than the Coupe - 1988 kg.

The interior of the "open Ku-60" completely repeats that of the closed version. The car has well-thought-out ergonomics, expensive finishing materials and excellent build quality. All controls are based on intuitive locations, the dashboard is attractive and functional, and the three-spoke multifunction steering wheel fits comfortably in your hands.

The front seats of the Infiniti Q60 convertible provide a convenient location for people of almost any body size - the profile is comfortable, the lateral support is pronounced, the adjustment ranges are wide.

The second row of seats is able to accommodate two people, but with the roof open, the ceiling will press on the heads, and in the legs, the reserve of space is not a record. The verdict is this: it is better to put back only children.

The luggage compartment of the convertible is 333 liters (this is even more than that of the coupe), but if you want to drive with the roof retracted, you will have to be content with only 70 liters.

Under the hood of the open version of the Infiniti Q60 is a naturally aspirated V6, producing 333 horsepower and 363 Nm of peak thrust (at 5200 rpm). To him, in tandem, relies on the same automatic transmission with seven steps with manual and sport modes of switching, which directs the entire supply of traction to the rear axle.

Due to the increased (in comparison with the coupe) weight, the convertible does the "exercise of gaining the first hundred" a little slower than the coupe - in 6.4 seconds, although the peak speed is the same - 250 km / h.

In the combined cycle, for every hundred, the car consumes 11.6 liters of gasoline (8.9 liters on the highway and 16.2 liters in the city).

At the heart of the "Q60 Cabrio" is the Front Midship platform, where the engine is shifted to the rear. Due to this, when the top is raised, the mass is distributed between the axles in a percentage ratio of 53 to 47, and when folded - 52 to 48.

The independent suspension is installed "in a circle" - the front suspension has double wishbones, and the rear suspension has a multi-link design. The braking system has ventilated discs on all wheels and 4-channel ABS.

The Infiniti Q60 convertible is available in Russia in three different equipment levels (Hi-Tech, Hi-Tech + allum and Hi-Tech + wood) at a price of 2,502,500 rubles (as of early 2015).

  • The most "simple" car is equipped with: adaptive climate control, two-channel "music" Bose, leather interior with wood inserts, windscreen, full power accessories, bi-xenon headlights, airbags and other systems that provide comfort and safety.
  • For the execution of Hi-Tech + allum they ask for 25 thousand more, and its distinctive feature is the interior decoration with gray-blue leather and aluminum.
  • The Hi-Tech + wood variant is offered at the same price, but the difference is that the interior is made of red leather and mahogany maple wood.
