At a press conference in Moscow on October 8, 2015, the official premiere of the "created especially for Russia" automobile brand Ravon (the successor to Uz-Daewoo) took place, under which the cars of the Uzbek manufacturer, in particular the compact sedan "Gentra", will be sold from now on. "Changed the brand", but subsequently underwent an update (so in the summer of 2017 the interior was slightly "refreshed", and in the future there will probably be changes in the exterior as well).
In the meantime, the exterior of the three-volume Ravon Gentra, tailored in an attractive and rather modern style, as a result of the "rebranding", acquired only new emblems, without undergoing any changes).
Let us remind that the “Uzbek sedan” (descendant of “Lacetti”) by its external dimensions fits into the concept of “golf” class: 4515 mm in length, 1725 mm in width and 1445 mm in height (when the axles are removed at a distance of 2600 mm). The underbody of the car is separated from the road surface by 160 mm clearance (ground clearance).
The curb weight of the car is ~ 1300 kg, and the maximum is ~ 1680 kg.
As we have already noted, initially there were no changes in the interior decoration of the three-volume model: a simple but well-thought-out design, a sufficiently high-quality level of performance and the necessary space in both the front and rear seats.
And in June 2017, the interior of the sedan was slightly updated: there were changes in the design of the front panel and interior trim, the "configuration" of the dashboard and audio system changed.
The volume of the luggage compartment in the "stowed" state is 405 liters, but the folding back of the rear sofa increases this figure to 1225 liters.
Specifications. The Ravon Gentra is powered by a four-cylinder petrol engine with a displacement of 1.5 liters, equipped with a 16-valve DOHC timing belt and multi-point fuel supply. The peak output of the unit is 107 "horses" of power at 5800 rpm and 141 N • m at 3800 rpm.
There are two types of transmissions - “mechanics” with five gears or “automatic” with six ranges.
Regardless of the version? from a standstill to 100 km / h "Gentra" rushes in 13 seconds, and its maximum capabilities are limited to ~ 180 km / h.
In the urban driving cycle, a "mechanical" sedan requires 8.5 liters of fuel, and an "automatic" one - 9.5 liters. When driving on the highway, the fuel "appetite" is reduced to 7 and 7.5 liters, respectively. The volume of the fuel tank is 60 liters, the recommended fuel grade is AI-92 and higher.
The three-volume system is built on the same platform from the Chevrolet Lacetti, which implies the presence of a completely independent suspension arrangement (MacPherson struts in front and a "two-lever" in the rear). The car is equipped with ventilated disc front and disc rear brakes with ABS system, as well as a rack and pinion steering gear with hydraulic booster.
Options and prices. In Russia, the 2017 Ravon Gentra is sold in three solutions - Comfort, Optimum and Elegant.
For the basic version of a sedan with "mechanics" ask for 539,000 rubles, for which it is equipped with: front airbags, power steering, PTF, side mirrors with heating and electric drive, audio preparation (6 speakers), electric windows for all doors and steel wheel discs ...
The most expensive version of "Gentra" with "automatic" is estimated at 669,000 rubles, and its privileges, in addition to the above, are: ABS, air conditioning, regular "music", heated front seats, a steering column with audio control buttons, as well as adjustable height and reach, alloy wheels and more.
